Site for retirement flats, Stratford Road

This was the old site of the Stratford Road Garage, which comprised a filling station, workshops and a house. The filling station closed down many years ago, and latterly the site was a hand car wash. Work has now started on building 21 retirement flats, 13 one bedroom and 8 two bedroom. Link (Archive Link )
