SD8267 : The Craven Heifer, Stainforth

taken 11 years ago, near to Stainforth, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

The Craven Heifer, Stainforth
The Craven Heifer, Stainforth
The name sounds uncomplimentary to a cow but of course the word Craven will refer to the geographical district and not a bovine personality defect. The pub is on the main road through the village south of the bridge over the Stainforth Beck, the parapet of which can just be seen.
