Victoria Buildings, Dantzic Street, Manchester
Victoria Buildings, Dantzic Street, Manchester
Built as offices, warehouses and workshops by E.J. Sherwood & R. Thomas, 1874. An attractive building, reminiscent of some of Clegg & Knowles's earlier palazzo warehouses (e.g. SJ8497 : 101 Princess Street, Manchester), but not as refined in its details. Grade II listed.
It is currently occupied by the City Stop Apartment Hotel, and Pulse nightclub.
In the background on the far left is SJ8498 : Co-operative Insurance Society Tower, Miller Street, Manchester (1).
