Disappearing relic
Disappearing relic
A tumble of boulders and a dip in the ground are today almost all that is left of what may be the entrance to a very ancient earth house. Some of the underground passage still exists, though the whole structure is gradually being re-absorbed into the ground in which it was built. John Allan has also photographed the site: NG3838 : Glen Bracadale Souterrain NG3838 : Inside Glen Bracadale Souterrain.
