The earthworks of British Camp in the snow
The earthworks of British Camp in the snow
Three distinct earthworks are visible on this iron-age hill-fort:
the original small fort around the hill now called Herefordshire Beacon (to the right),
the expanded fort with aprons to the north (middle of the photo) and around the hill now called Millennium Hill (to the left) .
and finally on the very top of Herefordshire Beacon there is a Medieval motte.
