ST6517 : Oborne: postbox № DT9 41

taken 7 years ago, near to Oborne, Dorset, Great Britain

Oborne: postbox № DT9 41
Oborne: postbox № DT9 41
The more southerly of Oborne's two postboxes is a standard Elizabeth II-reign lamp box - designed and familiarly seen strapped to lampposts and telegraph poles but in this instance set into a stone wall alongside a small parish noticeboard. It is emptied at 4pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays.

The junction with the main A30 is in the distance.
