SU1686 : Level crossing, cyclepath beside BMW Mini factory

taken 12 years ago, near to Stratton st Margaret, Swindon, England

Level crossing, cyclepath beside BMW Mini factory
Level crossing, cyclepath beside BMW Mini factory
The cyclepath runs between the BMW Mini factory and the disused Great Western Railways Swindon-Highworth branch line. It crosses the rails here where a line enters the factory. Although the siding is no longer used, and car body parts are now transported by road, the sign, whose design is curiously old-fashioned but is still in current use, still remains.
