NT1270 : A Really Useful Sign

A Really Useful Sign
A Really Useful Sign
This sign on the bank above the canal towpath has faded so much that it is all but illegible. Peering at it with the eye of faith, and knowing that there is a former quarry close by, one can just about make out that it warns about the quarry. Nor does the quarry any longer pose a risk - see NT1270 : Edinburgh Indoor Climbing Arena.
