SP1662 : Disused Telephone Exchange

Disused Telephone Exchange
Disused Telephone Exchange
This small building by the side of the A3400, at the end of Austy Wood, is marked on the map as a telephone exchange. I assume it is now disused. David Hillas has suggested that it probably ceased operating in the 1960's, and that Wootton Wawen is now served by the exchange in Station Road in Henley-in-Arden in SP1566.
