The Newlands Inn (1), 45-47 Newland Street, Eynsham
A Grade II listed building, dating in part from the early to mid-18th century, according to the listing. Elsewhere it is claimed that it dates from 1580 and was originally two houses, which became a pub in the 1860's. In view of the age of many buildings in Newland Street, the 1580 date seems quite probable. There are also claimed to be two resident ghosts in the pub.
