Knocketie Moss
Knocketie Moss
Knocketie Moss is a large area of peat land south west of Kirkcowan, tricky to navigate across the almost perpetually wet boggy moss. Only really fit for grazing sheep or hosting the ambition of an intrepid Geographer out for the day to take pictures of vastness. The view from here is over to Mark of Luce Moss. Walking boots and Waterproofs are essential gear for this area.
