Victorian villa, Chalmers Crescent

One of the grand villas built in the Grange-Sciennes area of the city as it expanded southwards in the 1880s. This one is particularly imposing and well beyond the means of today's mere mortals, even those on above-average incomes. Many such villas are now sub-divided into family homes. Several, like this one, have become care homes.
