Bilston Technical School (detail), Wolverhampton
This shows part of the south-west side of Bilston Technical School, built in Mount Pleasant in 1897 to celebrate the Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee. At present the building is boarded up and derelict. That is a disgrace. Maybe we should celebrate our current queen's diamond jubilee by taking steps to restore and preserve this (formerly) fine brick and terracotta edifice before further inevitable deterioration occurs.
