A grade II listed Church, circa 1876-77. By 1876, the Whitby architect E. H. Smales was commissioned to design the church, and by 1877 the church was consecrated.
Constructed in rock-faced sandstone with ashlar dressings, slate roofs with red ridge tiles. Consisting of a central tower with steeply hipped roof, finials and cross. Chancel, north organ chamber, vestry and a timber framed porch.
