Stone on Norwick beach
Stone on Norwick beach
A large stone, made of Skaw granite and about 30-40cm across, which has been washed up on the beach in a storm earlier in the winter. Subsequently, waves have washed sand away from the stone as they have receded down the beach, leaving a plume of sand pointing towards the sea.
