Viewed across Princess Way. The full name of the church is The Collegiate and Parish Church of St Mary. It is an Anglican (Church in Wales) church in the Rectorial Benefice of Central Swansea, Deanery of Swansea, Archdeaconry of Gower in the diocese of Swansea and Brecon. The present church was an early 1950s rebuild following major damage in air raids in the Second World War. The damaged church was a rebuild dating from 1896. There had been earlier churches on this site in the previous several centuries.
Grade II listed in April 1952.
