Holgate Windmill
Built in 1770 and in use until the 1930s, this tower mill is grade II listed - for listing particulars see LinkExternal link.

The Holgate Windmill Preservation Society was founded in 2001 with a view to restoring the mill to working order. This view in August 2011 shows the work on the tower itself complete and with the distinctive ogee cap in place.
