Holgate Windmill
Built in 1770 and in use until the 1930s, this tower mill is grade II listed - for listing particulars see LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) .

The Holgate Windmill Preservation Society was founded in 2001 with a view to restoring the mill to working order. This view in March 2012 follows restoration of the 5 sails, a very rare design.
