I imagine this started off as an estate cottage - it is, in any case, quite big as 'cottages' go. Largely flint-faced, with red-brick quoining. I like the barge-boards (with pinnacles), the pepper-pot chimneys, and the over-hanging eaves. The shot was taken shortly before sunset on an afternoon in early March.

I was reminded a little of a cottage on the Belvoir Estate, in Leicestershire: Link
