The "Blackbird of Belfast Lough" sculptures, Belfast

Sculptures, at Dromara Street, on the Ormeau Road, inspired by Seamus Heaney’s poem “The Blackbird of Belfast Lough” which, I understand, might have been based on a story from Irish mythology. The sculptor was Daniela Balmaverde LinkExternal link. She also made the one at the library J3472 : Library sculpture, Belfast on the outward side of the Ormeau Bridge.
