4 Dale Street, Liverpool
A classic piece of 1960s pop art (except it's 1970s) which looks as if it might have been inspired by insects' eyes. By Bradshaw, Rowse & Harker, 1971. You can't help but smile. Oddly, although it clearly makes very few concessions to its neighbours, it makes one - its height. Grade II listed.
A Spar supermarket occupied the ground floor, not sure about above. Built for Midland Bank I believe.
