Marine Court
Marine Court was completed in 1938 and is one of the first tower blocks in the UK, built upon a steel frame with reinforced concrete flat roofs. The Grade II listed fourteen storey Art-deco style building by Kenneth Dalgleish and Roger K Pullen was inspired by the Queen Mary ship completed in 1936. Upon completion it was the tallest block of flats in the UK.
