Looking through the new bridge to the old bridge
Over the Aln at Lesbury.
Until 2004 this very attractive old bridge, sometimes called Lesbury Mill Bridge, carried the A1068 road over the Aln but is now for the use of pedestrians only.
The new one is a bowstring arch made of tubular steel and a deck suspended from steel cable hangers.
