This street takes its name from the closed churchyard opposite TQ3178 : Diverging paths. This photo shows the old and new houses on opposite sides of Brook Drive, and the markings for Cycle Superhighway 7 that passes this way.
CS7 (Merton to the City)

One of the 12 new bicycle routes, Cycle Superhighways, announced in 2008 by Mayor Ken Livingstone, with the aim of creating continuous routes into central London by the end of 2012.

This route leads from Merton, via Colliers Wood, Tooting, Clapham, Stockwell, Kennington and Southwark Bridge into London.
