TQ1972 : Sunset at White Ash Pond, Richmond Park

Sunset at White Ash Pond, Richmond Park
White Ash Pond lies quite high up, not far from the west-facing scarp which runs south from Richmond Hill towards Ham Gate and Kingston. The last time I was here, a couple of months ago, the water level in the pond was much lower - exposing a soggy mass of weed. We've not had a great deal of precipitation since then, but enough - it seems - to bring the water up to a more normal level.
