Just Swanning Along In Blackburn [2]
This young Swan waddled along a Blackburn bus lane without a care in the world. He/She had just attempted a landing on the frozen canal and missed the unfrozen water under the nearby bridge, ruffling ones feathers ! After this mishap he/she took a walk on the wild side and caused a bit of chaos by holding up the traffic, particularly with the Accrington bound bus seen here. I gently persuaded this wonderful child of nature to let city life continue on its blind struggle to nowhere. So the Swan obliged by waddling on to a large grass strip. Then made a spectacular display of a take off from this green runway like a Lancaster bomber, astounding everyone as he/she flew above the main road under lamppost height.
