SU6662 : Interesting small print

taken 10 years ago, near to West End Green, Hampshire, Great Britain

Interesting small print
Interesting small print
Above the National Cycleway Logo the small print reads
"Use of this track is being monitored by West Berkshire District Council. (I wondered how?) It is AN OFFENCE to damage the surface of the track" (now that is an interesting notice).

On a more mundane note this also marks the start of a surviving section of an ancient road commonly referred to as the Devil's Highway.
