Clach Deuchainn (The Trial Stone)
Clach Deuchainn (The Trial Stone)
The trial stone situated in the grounds of the ruined church at Trumpan. An accused person was blindfolded and it was established he was telling the truth if, with ease, he was able to find the aperture in the stone with his hand. If he had to grope he was guilty.
