SU9081 : The Sounding Arch

taken 12 years ago, near to Taplow, Buckinghamshire, England

The Sounding Arch
Plaque on the railway viaduct over the River Thames between Maidenhead and Taplow. Correct in 1838 when the bridge was constructed, but does this still hold true?
