No place to make modern motor cars

Beyond the signal box there is the remains of the Longbridge car works, known locally as "The Austin". This saw over a century of car production.
Former BMW boss Bernd Pischetsrieder said something along the lines that Longbridge was very historic but no place to make a modern motor car.
