NT2472 : The Union Canal at Viewforth

taken 18 years ago, near to Morningside, Edinburgh, Scotland

The Union Canal at Viewforth
The Union Canal at Viewforth
The view is of the Union Canal as one approaches Viewforth on the journey from Falkirk to Edinburgh (thirty one and a half miles). The canal follows a contour line (with the help of a few viaducts) and does not have any locks.

The tenement buildings are on Viewforth St Peter's Place.
