Historic railway shelter
Historic railway shelter
I was surprised to discover that this unassuming railway shelter on the northbound platform at Sandwich is listed grade II (List Entry Number 1263601). It dates from the station's first opening in 1847 and is one of the last surviving examples of its kind.

The cycle stands and lockers are undoubtedly more recent.
