The sculpture was originally placed by the entrance of the old theatre (see Link ), and has now been relocated by the Great Stour since the new theatre has been built.
Marlowe Theatre

The present Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury opened on 4 October 2011. This is the third theatre to be named after Marlowe and the second on this site; the first was in St Margaret's Street TR1457 : View from the top of the multi-storey car park in 1980
