The Spiral, Malling Street

Sculpture on the roundabout leading to Cuilfail Tunnel is by Peter Randall-Page and was unveiled in 1983 three years after the tunnel was opened. This part of Malling Street was opened in the early 1970s on land once occupied by wharves and factories.
