NJ0223 : Old pile of firewood
taken 14 years ago, 3 km from Speybridge, Highland, Great Britain

Old pile of firewood
These are mainly birch, which make an excellent firewood, but are far too rotten now to be any good for the fire. However, they will provide food for beetles and fungi and other creatures as the logs decay.
