Timpendean Tower
Timpendean Tower is a 16th century buff-coloured sandstone rectangular tower house that stands beside an earthwork of an earlier date. Timpendean or Tympenden was once part of the estate of Bonjedward, owned by the Douglas family. The Eildon Hills are in the background to the right of the tower.
