A boundary hedge that had once been laid has been let go, forming trees. The view is across Five Acre Wood straddling SP1264 and SP1364 to the dome of Bannam's Wood in SP1164.
May’s Wood

May’s Wood is pleasant and spacious mixed woodland managed by the West Midlands Forest District of the Forestry Commission, England, based at Rugeley, Staffordshire. The wood occupies about 20 hectares on a low summit northwest of Wootton Wawen. There is public access from Mayswood Road. At the time of the photograph a public consultation was being held about the Forest Design Plan for the wood.
