A rather uninformative, and not very readable, plaque relating to NS5168 : Engines of the tug 'Clyde' at Renfrew at Ferry Green on Clyde Street. It reads:- The engines of the tug 'Clyde' constructed for the Clyde Navigation Trust by Messrs. A. & J. Inglis, Glasgow, 1851. Designed by the late Andrew Brown Esq, Provost of Renfrew for 15 years. Presented to the town of Renfrew by William Brown Esq, M.I.C.E. in memory of his Father'.
