The statue of Lady Godiva in Broadgate in Coventry is by Sir William Reid Dick and was unveiled on 22 October 1949. The statue was a £20,000 gift from Mr WH Bassett-Green. The statue is commonly known as the Lady Godiva statue, but its official name is 'The Self Sacrifice'.
