With wildlife photography, the general rule is that a telephoto lens is essential to obtain good photographs; the longer the better.

However, at the British Wildlife Centre, things don't always work out like that, as regular photographer Andrew discovered. This is a good reason to visit regularly!

This particularly friendly female red squirrel gave us much entertainment on the day, posing regularly, and using visitors' legs as substitute tree trunks!
