Slopes below the Tannahill Walkway
Slopes below the Tannahill Walkway
Just as I had been told, bluebells were abundant on these slopes below NS4660 : The Tannahill Walkway. On the left, in the middle distance, is an uneven grassy space, where a grey rock outcrop is visible; it is just one of several to be found there. That area is known locally as NS4660 : The Rocks; also to be found there are the faint traces of a farmstead called Hillock: NS4660 : The remains of Hillock.

Directly behind the Rocks, the nearest houses are in Carsegreen Avenue and Craigielinn Avenue. The short section of road visible in the right-hand side of the image is at the junction of Braehead Road and Hillcrest Avenue / Craigmount Avenue.
