NS4660 : Dry-stone wall bench

Dry-stone wall bench
Dry-stone wall bench
This picture was taken at a corner of a dry-stone wall that is depicted on the first-edition OS map (surveyed in 1858). A path through Gleniffer Braes Country Park passes this point, and a portion of the ruined wall has been built up, and some mortar applied, to form a bench.

Although there is a corner in the dry-stone wall at this point, its original line continues as a much fainter boundary: NS4660 : Old boundary.
