Three of a kind...
Three of a kind...
Aberdeen has withstood the recession far better than most cities, but it is certainly not immune from the malaise affecting town and city centre shops. The south end of George Street is a pretty sorry sight these days, as evidenced by three empty shops in a row, with hopeful "to let" signs in the windows. A couple of years' ago, they were a jewellery boutique, a women's clothing shop and a Christian bookstore.
