'Road and Rail' crossings!

Just before where the Oakley Cross beck passed beneath the colliery feeder line to the Darlington to Stockton Railway (1825) here, a farm road bridge has been added. The confluence of the beck with the River Gaunless takes place shortly after this old stone rail bridge.
