At the end of Swan Street/start of Oaks Bank. The area from which the photograph was taken also used to be the terminus for the Bishop Auckland to Evenwood buses (a service shared by four separate companies running at 15 minute intervals around the 1950s; Lockey/OK/Stephenson/Bluebell).
