This memorial stands in Christie Park "in memory of the men of Bonhill Parish who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1919 and in the World War 1939-1945". It was designed by the artist Sir David Young Cameron, and the architects were Bell and Harvey of Stirling. The memorial was formally unveiled in 1921.
