NR4975 : The Paps of Jura from the Islay ferry

taken 12 years ago, near to Loch an Oir [water Feature], Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

The Paps of Jura from the Islay ferry
The Paps of Jura from the Islay ferry
The three Paps of Jura as seen from the ferry to Islay. In order from left to right they are Beinn a Chaolais (733m), Beinn an Oir (785m) and Beinn Shiantaidh (757m).
I believe approximate pronunciations for these mountains are as follows (caps = stressed syllable)
Beinn a Chaolais - Benn-ya KUR-lish
Beinn an Oir - Benn-yan OAR
Beinn Shiantaidh - Benn HEE-antee
