Charing Cross - Hastings express at London Bridge
View NW, towards Charing Cross/Cannon Street on Platform 3, the 14.25 from Charing Cross being at Platform 2, headed by Maunsell 'Schools' V class 4-4-0 No. 30936 'Cranleigh'. The coaches (and the 'Schools' class locomotives) were built to a narrower width for the limited clearance of the tunnels on the SER Hastings line.
