St. Andrew's Churchyard
St. Andrew's Churchyard
The village of Kirkandrews-on-Eden gets its name from a church dedicated to St. Andrew, which fell into ruin some centuries ago. No obvious remains of the building survive, but the churchyard continued to be used for burials until at least the beginning of the 20th century LinkExternal link . A sign near the entrance says it is a "living churchyard" conservation area.
St. Mary's Church at Beaumont Link now serves the combined parish of "Beaumont (with Kirkandrews on Eden and Grinsdale)".
