Canada Geese By The Canal
Canada Geese By The Canal
A family of Canada Geese on the bank of the Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal at Radcliffe. Canada geese are large birds, with a distinctive black head and neck and large white throat patch. Originally introduced from North America, they have successfully spread to cover most of the UK. They form noisy flocks and are often regarded as a nuisance in areas where large numbers occur.
